Given, base of the triangular lawn is y metres and height z metres.

$∴$ Area of triangular lawn $= \frac{1}{2} \times y \times z$ $= \frac{1}{2} y z m^{2} [∵$ area of triangle $= \frac{1}{2} \times h e i g h t \times b a s e]$
$∴$ Cost of planting the grass on lawn = Area x Rate

$= \frac{1}{2} y z \times x = R s . \frac{1}{2} x y z$
