Question

The ratio between number of molecules in equal masses of CH4 and SO2 is?

Open in App
Solution

Mole = weight / molecular weight

Mole of methane = mass / 16
And
Mole of S02 = mass/64

Therefore the ratio = 64/16 =4/1

..: the ratio between the molecules in equal masses of CH4 And So2 is CH4: So2 =4:1
