Let the 1st class fare is Rs. 3x and the 2nd class fare is Rs. x.
Let the number of passengers travelling in 1st class = y
Then, the number of passengers travelling in 2nd class = 50y
3xt+50xt=132553xy=1325xy=Rs.25
Amount collected from 2nd class passengers=50×Rs.25=Rs.1250
