Let the income be $3x$ and $2x$

Their expenditure is $4y$ and $3y$

(A) $Saving=Income-expenditure$ $=3x-4y=2000....\left(i\right)$

(B) $Saving$ $=2x-3y=1000.....\left(ii\right)$

From $\left(i\right)$ and $\left(ii\right)$ we have

$y=1000$ and $x=2000$

$\therefore$ Income of $A=3x=6000$

Income of $B=2x=4000$
