The correct option is C 48 m, 60 m
The area of the triangle = A = 1440 m2
The ratio of the base and the height of the triangle = 4 : 5
Let the the length of the base and height = 4x and 5x.
We know that 12b×h=A
12 4x×5x=1440
10x2 = 1440
x2 = 144
x = 12
Therefore, the length of the base = 4x = 4 × 12 = 48 m.
The height of the triangle = 5x = 5 × 12 = 60 m
