Distance. between object and image =40 and hihm=3= magnification vu=3 for a real object if the magnification is greater than one then its means that the object is between Radius of curvature point and focus. Inverted image is formed in between infinity and radius of curvature point

vu=40

u=20 cmv=3u=60 cm
formula
1f=1v+1u
