Given:
Meter reads rms value viz.
=1.11 Vavg for sinusoidal wave

For a square wave input, full wave rectifier will give DC output.


For DC output,

Vavg=Vp

meter will read 1.11 Vavg or 1.11 Vp

But the true value of rectifier output which will be read by this meter=Vp

Hence, correction factor

=True valueMeasured value=11.11
