The weight of potatoes is 3kg

The weight of apples is 312kg

The improper fraction of 312kg is

3123×2+126+1272

Now, The weight of apples is 72kg

The weight of oranges is 234kg

The improper fraction of 234kg is

2342×4+348+34114

Now, The weight of oranges is 114kg

The weight of pears is 13kg

To find the total weight purchased

Total weight = The weight of potatoes +The weight of apples + The weight of oranges + The weight of pears

= 3kg+72kg+114kg+13kg

Now consider the denominator of = 3kg+72kg+114kg+13kg i.e, 2,4,3

The LCM of 2,4,3 is 12

The fraction become

=3×12+72×12+114×12+13×1212=36+7×6+11×3+1×412=36+42+33+412=11512

Hence, Total weight purchased is 11512kg
