Length of the rectangular floor = side length of each tile ×
number of tiles placed along the length
=23×6
=23+23+23+23+23+23=123
=4 ft
Width of the rectangular floor = side length of each tile × number of tiles placed along the width
=23×3
=23+23+23
=63
=2 ft
Area of the floor = length × width
=4×2
= 8 sq ft
