The side of certain triangles are given below. Determine which of them are right triangles :
(i) a=6cm,b=8cm,and c=10cm
(ii) a=5cm,b=8cm,and c=11cm

(i) We have,
a=6cm,b=8cm and c=10cm

Here, the larger side is c=10cm.

we have, a2+b2=62+82=36+64+100=c2

So, the triangle with the given sides is a right angle triangle.

(ii) Here, the larger side is c=11cm.

Clearly, a2+b2=25+64=89c2

So, the triangle with the given sides is not a right angle triangle.
