Solution

The volume of a cube = (side)3

(1) The side of cube = 2 m
Using the above formula for finding the volume of a cube:
Volume = (side)3 = (2)3 m3
= 8 m3

(2) The side of cube = 5 m
Using the above formula for finding the volume of a cube:
Volume = (side)3 = (5)3 m3
= 125 m3

(3) The side of cube = 8 cm
Using the above formula for finding the volume of a cube:
Volume = (side)3 = (8)3 cm3
= 512 cm3

(4) The side of cube = 4 cm
Using the above formula for finding the volume of a cube:
Volume = (side)3 = (4)3 cm3
= 64 cm3

(5) The side of cube = 10 cm
Using the above formula for finding the volume of a cube:
Volume = (side)3 = (10)3 cm3
= 1000 cm3
