Cerebrum forms the major part of the human brain. he cerebrum is divided into two halves termed as left and right crebral hemispheres. The layers of cells which covers the cerebral hemisphere is called cerebral cortex which has a unique appearance that consists of many folds or ridges and indentations.
A brain ridge/ fold is known as a gyrus, while an indentation/ depression is a sulcus. Gyri and sulci give the brain its wrinkled appearance.
Hence, the correct statement is: Gyri and Sulci are the folds of Cerebrum.
