Let number be x and y
Now, according to the question
$x+y=25.......\left(1\right)x-y=20.......\left(2\right)$
On adding (1) and (2), we have
$2x=45$
$\Rightarrow x=\frac{45}{2}=22.5$

$22.5+y=25$
$\Rightarrow y=25-22.5=2.5$
$\therefore$ Required ratio = 22.5 : 2.5 = 9 : 1
