Solution

Dear Student,

Let x be the tenth place digit and y be the units place digit. The sum of the digits is 8.x+y=8 Eq.1Unit place digit is 1 more than 6 times the tenth digit.y=6x+1 Eq.2Putting Eq.2 in Eq.1,x+y=8x+6x+1=87x+1=87x=7x=1.So y=6x+1=61+1=7x=1 and y=7.So the two digit number is 17.

Regards.
