Given, b:c = 9:16 and a:c = 1:4
Multiply the ratio a:c with 4 on both the sides.
Thus, a: c= 4:16
Now, the ratio a:b:c can be expressed as 4:9:16
Given, a+b+c = 174.
Hence, 4x+9x+16x = 174.
Solving, x = 6
Thus, the value of b = 9x = 54.
