Given Sum of two fractions is $5\frac{3}{9}=5+\frac{1}{3}=\frac{15+1}{3}=\frac{16}{3}$

$⟹x+\frac{11}{4}=\frac{16}{3}$

$⟹x=\frac{16}{3}-\frac{11}{4}=\frac{64-33}{12}=\frac{31}{12}=2\frac{7}{12}$

Therefore the other fraction is $2\frac{7}{12}$
