Solution

The correct option is A True

  • Hot weather season is also referred to as the summer season that lasts from March to May.
  • Winds that give maximum rainfall to India are south-west monsoon. These winds bring rains towards the end of the summer due to high pressure built over the Indian Ocean. Rains occur only after the summer because in summer low-pressure areas are created and time is taken by winds to reach from Indian ocean with high-pressure areas to reach terrestrial India.
  • The monsoon strikes Malabar Coast in the month of June and by November leaves the country. Most of the food production in India depends on the monsoon.
