Question

The surface area of a cuboid is 4150 cm2. If its length and breadth are 35 cm and 25 cm respectively, find its height.

Open in App
Solution

Let h be the height of cuboid.
Length of cuboid (l)=35cm
Breadth of cuboid (b)=25cm
Surface area of cuboid =4150cm2

We know that,
Surface area of cuboid =2(lb+bh+hl)

Therefore,
2(lb+bh+hl)=4150
35×25+25h+35h=41502
60h=2075875
h=120060
=2cm

Hence, the height of the cuboid is 2 cm.
