The correct option is C
4^o Celsius

Temperature at 4.00 A.M. = -2^oCelsius

Rate of increase in temperature = 2^oCelsius every 4 hours

Total hours between 4:00 A.M. and 4:00 P.M. = 12 hours

12 hours means three times a period of 4 hours.

So, temperature increase after 12 hours = 2 x 3 = 6^o Celsius
Thus, temperature at 4.00 P.M. = -2 + 6 = 4^oCelsius
