  1. The lowest part of the brain, the lowest portion of the brainstem.
  2. Regulate the functions of the autonomic nervous system like respiration, heartbeat, and vasodilation.
  3. It is also involved in reflexes like vomiting, coughing, sneezing and swallowing.

Cerebellum

  1. It is known as little brain
  2. Located at the back of the brain
  3. It helps with the regulation of motor skills. It helps maintain posture, balance and equilibrium.
