There are 25 High Courts in India at present for all the states and union territories. Each High Court has jurisdiction over a specified state, a union territory or a group of states and union territory.
In 2019, Andhra Pradesh is given separate High Court in Amravati (earlier it was under the High Court of Judicature of Hyderabad). It is latest addition as the 25th High Court of India.
