Aperture of pupil d=5 mm k λ=5500 ˚A
The angular resolving power for eye in given by :-
θRP=1.22λd(1)
If headlights are l=1.22 m apart and a distance of o from
θRP=LD(2) (angle subtended by two headlights )
From (1) & (2)
1.22λd=LD1.22×5.5×1075×103=1.22D
D=9.9×103=9.9 km
