Solution

The correct option is C both A and B
Option (C) is correct. The hybridisation in octahedral complexes are d2sp3 or sp3d2.

All the complex ions having a coordination number of central metal atom as six show octahedral geometry. This octahedral geometry arises due to d2sp3 or sp3d2 hybridisation of the central metal atom or ion. The type of hybridisation (i.e. d2sp3 or sp3d2) depends on the no. of unpaired or paired electrons present in the complex ion.

Octahedral complexes in which the central atom is d2sp3 are called inner -orbital octahedral complexes while octahedral complexes in which the central atom is sp3d2 are called outer -orbital octahedral complexes.
