Solution

Unit of magnetic pole strength:

  1. The force with which a material is attracted to a magnet is known as the pole strength of the magnet.
  2. The unit of magnetic pole strength is ampere-meter(Am).

Unit of magnetic dipole moment:

  1. The tendency of an object to align with a magnetic field is termed magnetic dipole moment.
  2. It is mathematically defined as the product of magnetic pole strength and magnetic length. Its unit is ampere-squaremetre(Am2)

Hence, the units of magnetic pole strength and magnetic dipole moment of a magnet are Am and Am2, respectively.
