Li37

Solution

Electronic configuration — The distribution of an electron in a given shell or orbitals is considered an electronic configuration

  • It also predicts whether the element is metal, non-metal, metalloids, and noble gas
  • It is based on atomic number
  • Electronic configuration of the given element [Li] is 2,1

Chlorides — when any metal reacts with a chlorine atom then it forms chlorides.

  • when Lithium reacts with chlorine forms Lithium chloride I:e LiCl.

Oxides — when any metal reacts with an oxygen atom then it forms oxides.

  • When Lithium reacts with oxygen forms Lithium oxide I:e Li2O

Thus, the Electronic configuration Li 2,1, And their chloride formula is LiCl, and their oxides formula is Li2O
