Present value = 411540
Original value= x
According to question:-
411540 = x* (100-5)/100 (formula)
411540 = x* 95/100
x = 411540*100/95 (transversal property)
x = 433200 (value 1year ago)
Now value for 2 year ago:-
(putting principle as 433200)
433200 = x*(100-5)/100 (as it is given in question decrease 5%)
433200 = x*95/100
x = 433200*100/95
x = 456000 (value 2 years ago)
Now value for 3 years ago (putting principle as 456000)
456000 = x*(100-5)/100
456000 = x*95/100
x = 456000*100/95
x = 480000 ANS.
