Solution

The correct option is C 0.95
Removing 50Ω resistance and redrawing the circuit.

Applying KCL at node (a), (b), (c), (d)
Current in branch ad=I1
Current in branch dc=I1I
Current in branch bc=3.5I1
Current in branch ab=5I1
Now applying KVL in the loop abcda
10I1+(I11)15(3.5I1)20(5I1)30=0
10I1+15I1+20I1+30I1=15+70+150
I1=3.133A
Vad=10I1=31.33V
Vdc=(I11)×15=31.95V
Vth=Vad+Vdc=63.28V

Rth:

RTh=(50)(25)=503Ω
Therenin's equivalent circuit,

Current flowing though 50Ω resistor,
I50A=63.2850+503=0.95A
