The correct option is A 10 m/s moving downwards
For the given concave mirror,
u=30 cm, f=20 cm
Using mirror formula,
1v130=120
1v=160
v=60 cm
So, m=vu=(60)30=2
Also, velocity of the image when the object is moving perpendicular to the principal axis,
vi,m=mvo,m
vi,m=2×5=10 m/s
Hence, the velocity of the image will be 10 m/s downwards.
