According to boyle's law
when $T = c o n s$
$P_{1} V_{1} = P_{2} V_{2}$ now $P_{1} = 1000 V_{1} = 1200$ and $P_{2} = 700$ ( as it decreased by $30 %$ )
So $V_{2} = \frac{P_{1} \times V_{1}}{P_{2}} = \frac{1000 \times 1200}{700} = 1700 c m^{3}$
