The volume of a wall, 5 times as high as it is wide and 8 times as long as it is high, is 12.8 cu. meters. Find the breadth of the wall in cm.

Let the breadth of the wall be x units.
Given, height is 5 times the breadth and length is 8 times the height.
Then,
height=5×breadth=5x units
length=8×height=8(5x)=40x units
We know that,
volume of cuboid = length × breadth × height
Given, volume of cuboid = 12.8 m3
x×5x×40x=12.8200 x3=12.8 x3=12.8200=1282000=641000 x3=4×4×410×10×10 x=410 m =410×100 cm =40 cm
The breadth of the wall = 40 cm
