Number of girls in a hockey team is three less than twice the number of boys .If the number of girls is 15. How many boys are there are in the team.
Let no. of girls=x
and no. of boys=y
Given:-
x=2y3
If x=15
15=2y3
2y=18y=9
If the number of girls is 15, then no. of boys are 9.
