Question

Solution

You should take HCF of 156, 208 and 206

H.C.F of 156, 208

P.F of 156 = 2 x 2 x 3 x 13
P.F of 208 = 2 x 2 x 2 x 2 x 13
Therefore H.C.F of 156, 208 = 2 x 2 x 13 = 52.

Now, H.C.F of 52 and 260

P.F of 52 = 2 x 2 x 13
P.F of 260 = 2 x 2 x 5 x 13

H.C.F = 2 x 2 x 13 = 52
Max. number of students per bus = 52

Total number of students = 156 + 208 + 260 = 624 students.

No. of buses = 624 / 52 = 12 buses
