Let the number of trees she planted originally = xNow, number of trees in orchard after 1 year = x + 200Number of trees in the orchard 3 years later = 2x+200 = 2x + 400Now, according to question : x + x + 200 + 2x + 400 = 18006x + 600 = 18006x = 1800 - 6006x = 1200x = 12006 = 200So, number of trees she planted originally = 200
