To travel from A to B, there are 3 ways.
To travel from B to C, there are 2 ways.
So, total ways of travelling from A to C through B=3×2=6 ways.
It is give that there is 1 way to go from A to C directly.
Total ways a person can travel from A to C=6+1=7 ways.
