There are 32, 48 and 56 students in class V, class VI and class VII,respectively. Find the maximum number of students who can stand in a row, if each row has the same number of students and also find the number of rows formed.

The number of students in each row = H.C.F. of 32,48 and 56

H.C.F. of 32,48,56 is 8

Hence,

The number of students who can stand in a row if each row has an equal number of students is 8

Then the number of rows in class V =328=4

The number of rows in class VI =488=6

The number of rows in class VII =568=7
