There are 500 children in a school. For a P.T drill they have to stand in such a manner that the number of rows is equal is equal to number of columns .How many children would be left out in this arrangement?

As the children has to stand in such a way that the number of rows and number of columns are same. So the number of children should be a perfect square.
We have two perfect square number nearest to 500 are 484=(22)2 and 529=(23)2..
In the problem we have to left out children such that the number of rows and number of columns remains same.
