Number of barrels in the warehouse = 98,357
Number of barrels stolen = 2,469

To find out the remaining number of barrels left in the warehouse, we subtract 2,469 from 98,357.

So, we regroup 7 at ones place to 17 using the next term.

Continuing in this process, we get:
