There were twelve dozens of chocolates with a shopkeeper. Ten chocolates were distributed by the shopkeeper to the children of this colony. The shopkeeper then added two more dozens of chocolate in his stock. If the shopkeeper divided the total chocolates equally in two different packets, then how many chocolates were there in each packet?

(d) Total chocolates before distributing to children = 12 x 12 =144
10 chocolates were given to children, then number of chocolates left = 144 - 10 = 134
However, two more dozens of chocolates were added then chocolates = 134 + 24 =158
Number of chocolates per packet = 158/2 = 79
