The correct option is D EK(CO2)=EK(O2)=EK(Cl2)
Kinetic energy of 1 mole of gas =32RT-------------(1)
Where T is the temperature and R is gas constant.
Eq (1) is known as Maxwell generalisation which states that at a given temperature, the kinetic energy of a mole of every gas is the same which is equal to 32RT.
So, kinetic energy of all the gases CO2,O2 and Cl2 are equal to 32RT
