Question

Three persons start a business and spend rupees 45000 and Rs 15,000 and Rs 40,000 respectively find the share of each out of a profit of rupees 14400 in a year

Open in App
Solution

Total money spent by three person= Rs (45000+15000+40000) = Rs. 100000

therefore, ratio of money first person spends = (45000/100000) = 0.45

therefore, ratio of money second person spent = (15000/100000)= 0.15

therefore percentage of money thirs person spent = (40000/100000) = 0.4

Profit = Rs 14400

therefore, first person's share= 0.45 of Rs 14400 = 0.45×14400=Rs 6480

therefor, share of second person= 0.15 of 14400 = 0.15×14400=Rs 2160

therefore, share of third person= 0.4 of 14400 =
0.4×14400=Rs 5760
