The correct option is A4 hours 52 min. Let it take x hours to fill the tank by all the three pipes.
Then work done by {A in x hours + B in (x - 1) hours + C in (x - 2) hours} = 1
⇒x10+(x−1)12+(x−2)15=1
⇒6x+5(x−1)+4(x−2)=60
⇒15x−13=60⇒15x=73
⇒x=7315=41315=4hours+1315×60min=4hours52min.
The time in which the cistern was just filled is =4hours52min.
