Population of a town = 50000
Annual increase in population in first year $= 4 %$
in second year $= 5 %$
and in third year $= 3 %$
$∴$ Present population
$= 50000 (1 + \frac{4}{100}) (1 + \frac{5}{100}) (1 + \frac{3}{100})$
$= 50000 \times \frac{26}{25} \times \frac{21}{20} \times \frac{103}{100} = 56238$
