You have thrown from the top of the building. Let It reach the maximum vertical height using time 't'. This 't' is also required to come down up to the top of the building. Remember not to reach the ground. Because to reach the ground the ball need to some more distance,which will be equal to the height of the building.

Level of measuring distance should be same.
