there are many ways to take bood(steel needles,vacuum tube systems.,vacutainer method,.....) one of those is by using syringe .

syringe method is the recomented method for drawing blood from small veins and difficult veins
when comparing with other methods the chance of accidents to occur is less for this method

that is why doctors prefer syringe method for drawing blood
