Top of a table is of trapezium in shape whose parallel sides are 1 m and 1.2 m and perpendicular distance between them (h)=0.8 m

$\therefore Areaoftrapezium=\frac{1}{2}\left(Sumofparallelsides\right)\times height$

$=\frac{1}{2}(1+1.2)\times 0.8m^2=\frac{1}{2}\left(2.2\right)\times 0.8m^2=1.1\times 0.8m^2=0.88m^2$
