(i) The expanded form of 3673917 is 3000000 + 600000 + 70000 + 3000 + 900 + 10 + 7

(ii) As we can see in the expanded form, the place value of both the 7s are 7000 and 7 respectively.

= 70000 - 7 = 69993 ( 1 mark )
