Mass of ball 1 (m1)=2 kg
Mass of ball 2 (m2)=4 kg
Velocity of ball 1 (u1)=6 m/s
Velocity of ball 2 (u2)=4 m/s (opposite)
Coefficient of restitution (e)=0.5

Since coefficient of restitution e=velcocity of separationvelocity of approach=v2v1u1u2
v2v1=e(u1u2)
v2v1=0.5(6(4))
=5 m/s
