Let the tension in the string be T and acceleration of both the blocks be a.

Mass of one block, m1=10 kg
Mass of the other block, m2=20 kg
For block of mass m1:
According to Newton’s second law, T20=m1a
T20=10a..(i)
For block of mass m2:

According to Newton’s second law, 50T=m2a

50T=20a..(ii)
Adding (i) and (ii), we get:
30a = 30
a=1m/s2
Thus, acceleration of the block of mass 10 kg is 1 m/s2. Hence, the correct answer is option (1).
