The masses of two blocks are 2 kg and 1 kg, the time is 2 sec.
Acceleration of the blocks is given by
a=(m2m1)g(m2+m1)
Putting the values, we get a=g/3 ms2

Centre of mass of the system is
acom=(m2m1)g/3(m2+m1)

Putting the values, we get acom=g/9 ms2 Scom=12acomt22.22 m
