The correct option is C 3VK+2
Just after removing the battery, net charges on the positive plates of the capacitors is given by,


Q1+Q2=(2C)V+CV=3CV

After insertion of dielectric material,

Let Vc be the common potential difference across both capacitors.

Q1+Q2=(2C)Vc+(KC)Vc=CVc(2+K)

Applying conservation of charges,

Q1+Q2=Q1+Q2

3CV=CVc(2+K)

Vc=3VK+2

Hence, option (C) is correct.
